The Upgrade Assistant is often wrong. So if it slips through and Upgrades anyway, you can always roll it back if it runs badly. I clean installed mine in a dual boot on a partition I shrunk. It runs great even though the UA said it wouldn't. Then you can go ahead and turn Updates back on to see if it still has Windows 11 queued, and if so proceed with the steps I gave to reset Windows Updates to get WIndows 11 out of the queue.
